It is not just something you do after dinner anymore. Just like WARTs, belching has really grown up.

It is a bunch of GAS that forms in your stomach and makes its way back up through your esophagus.

GAS is created in the stomach. This is shown on the right. The belching studio is not a scientific term, it is my way of explaining things.

When enough gas has been created and it needs to escape. It leaves the stomach and shoots up through esophagus. Of course, sometimes we hear rumbles in the stomach first.

What causes GAS -

Two things:

1. Swallowed Air
2. Certain Foods

Krakatau - Here is how you say this word:

CRACK - AH - TOE - AH

In 1883, the volcano Krakatau, blew itself apart in the biggest belch thought to have occurred on Earth.

Located near Java, Krakatau spawned a baby, volcano that still belches glowing rocks and ashes.

It continues to belch today, 100 years later. Yes indeed, this volcano has become addicted to belching.
